Collection Advisory Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 4th from 2:15-2:45PM in the Media Center to review incoming materials.
Pursuant to MCPS Board Policy 2521, the Collection Advisory Committee will serve in an advisory capacity in the selection of library materials. New materials (anything that is not currently in RCE’s library collection) need to be presented to this committee before being added to the collection. These committee meetings give teachers, parents, and community stakeholders an opportunity to ask questions, make comments, and express concerns about the proposed materials.
