Mrs. Alice Sasnett Valle
I am a Florida native, born in Tampa. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and graduated with honors as part of the prestigious Suncoast Area Teacher Training Program. After beginning my teaching career in Zephyrhills, I moved with my family to Tennessee and have taught for 15 years in Sumner County Schools & Metro Nashville Public Schools. I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, and plus 45 in Exceptional Education & School Counseling, and my Gifted Endorsement from Vanderbilt University.
I have had the privilege of working with every age group from Kindergarten through 9th grade as an Instructional Coach, Exceptional Education teacher & Gifted Specialist. As the parent of three gifted children, and a gifted kid myself, I have a heart for working with children with unique gifts & exceptionalities.
I am inspired every day by their energy & creativity, and while our curriculum is academically advanced & rigorous, I strive to infuse JOY into every day they spend with me.
When I'm not busy planning something wonderful for your kids, I enjoy kayaking, horseback riding & gardening with my husband Rafael, and a bevy of furry four-legged family members. Native Floridians both, we love all things equestrian and are lifelong Gators fans. Our rivalry between rooting for the Miami Dolphins or Tampa Bay Buccaneers continues!
